Community Garden

Emmet O'Neal Library and the Oak Street Garden Shop have partnered to start a garden for everyone! Visit the community garden before or after select summer programs (see schedule above or below) to plant, weed, water, and harvest. Surplus food will be donated to the Magic City Harvest. No registration required! Tuesdays 10 - 10:30 am Wednesdays 5 - 5:30 pm Thursdays 10 - 10:30 am Saturdays 10 - 10:30 am

Bookmania is back!

Make a splash with our summer Bookmania programs for 4th-6th graders!
All Bookmania events are on Tuesdays from 6 - 7 pm and include pizza and a book discussion. Find the session that's right for you and give us a call at 879-0497 to register. But hurry...spots are limited! Roger Day!

Summer Chess Club!

Dive into chess at Emmet O'Neal this summer! Chess Club will be from 3:30 - 5:00 pm every Wednesday from June 2 - July 14. With all that practice, you don't want to miss the chess tournament on July 17th at 11:30 am - but make sure to register by calling 879-0497!

SUMMER READING KICK-OFF!

Summer reading is almost here! Celebrate with us at the kick-off carnival on Sunday, May 23rd, from 2:00 - 4:30. Make sure to register for the Thomas Hughes Brinkley Memorial Fun Run, taking place at 1:30 that day! Preregister for all events starting May 6 at the children's desk, and don't forget to pick up your summer reading T-shirt!
